About Natural Connections OT

I founded Natural Connections OT because I am passionate about providing personalized care to improve children‘s functional engagement in their meaningful activities. I believe that occupational therapy is most effective when it occurs in a child's natural environment, which is why my sessions take place in homes, at kitchen tables, in backyards, parks, and other community spaces. I care deeply about providing education and proactive strategies to empower parents and other caregivers to feel confident in supporting their children.

I graduated from Shenandoah University with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. My clinical experience has been in outpatient pediatrics and early intervention settings, which has provided a strong foundation in child development. My specialties include feeding therapy, self regulation, sensory processing, ADHD, executive functioning, and engagement in activities of daily living and routines. I am trained in the Get Permission Approach and Sequential-Oral-Sensory (SOS) Approach to feeding therapy.

“My approach is child-led and incorporates play, building strong relationships, the therapeutic power of nature, and partnering closely with caregivers to help children to achieve their goals.”
